Founder & Co-learner Claudia (MA) is the Founder and Co-learner of Divergent Learning Community. As the parent of a child who learns differently, she spent seven years immersed in self-directed learning across neuroscience, cognitive psychology, child development, and rights-based educational philosophy — a journey that ultimately led to the founding of this learning community. With 18 years of experience in Business Operations, Quality Assurance and Transformational Change at Cisco, and an MA in Journalism from Brunel University London, Claudia brings both academic rigour and real-world expertise to her work. Claudia is undertaking an MSc in Psychological Sciences at Brunel University London, encompassing the study of Cognitive Psychology, Biological Psychology, Developmental Psychology, and Individual Differences — the academic disciplines that sit at the very heart of everything DLC is built upon.
